The Job Market: Is a College Degree Worth Less?

This article is very true. Times are changing and a tuition is increasing as well as the people that are going to college. People who don't go to college have a very limited job opportunity. Now its beginning to be if you do not have a masters degree you won't be able to get a job. But I also feel many employers are different when it comes to educations. Depending on your job is what your education needs to be. For example I have heard for teachers that if you do have a masters degree employers will not higher you because they will have to pay you more. I have also heard that that is what employers are looking for. I guess it all depends on your job and what employers are looking for.

Should More People Skip College?

Though this article says to skip school it is easier said then done. Jobs are making higher expectations for their employees which means they do want a college degree. For example my mom is a travel agent and right after high school she was offered a job and has been in the business ever since. She is great at her job and is a manager of the office and get tons of free travel for it. Now a days to be able to be a travel agent you need to go to college. Why go and waste tons of money at college if my mother is successful at her job and makes more then a college graduate will make when going into the business.

Plan B: Skip College

The last article got me thinking... No college? or go to college?. These three articles have been informative but at the same time confusing. Though they say you don't need to go to college for certain jobs, that's not what employers say. Some jobs will throw your application out if you don't have a college degree. But these articles are saying their changing this? I don't see change I see higher tuition, more debt, and less jobs. I don't know what the future hold for colleges I know they are not going to be lowering their tuition and I know they are not going to be happy if employers start saying their employees don't need a college education.
